(THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF MOSQUES IN MALAYSIA: ITS IMPORTANCE TO MOSQUE CONGREGATIONS)

This study aims to review the safety and health conditions of mosques in Malaysia and its impact on mosque worshipers. Safety and health in the mosque refers to the safety condition of the mosque's infrastructure and infrastructure as well as the level of health in the mosque's surroundings. The state of security of the mosque's infrastructure and infrastructure as well as the level of health in the mosque's environment is directly related to the congregation that comes to worship in the mosque. This study was carried out through the method of observing the infrastructure and infrastructure as well as the level of safety of the mosque environment. While the subjects of the study are mosques in this country which are taken by sampling. The main findings of this study show that there are matters related to safety and health in the mosque such as the structure of the mosque building, facilities around the mosque as well as equipment and ventilation inside the mosque that need to be improved from time to time. It is recommended that the parties involved in the regulation of mosques, whether religious authorities or mosque administrators, need to constantly monitor the safety and health situation in the mosque. The parties need to overcome the problems related to the matter by establishing a special unit for monitoring the safety & health of the mosque, creating guidelines related to the safety and health of the mosque, conducting regular safety and health inspections in the mosque, and then overcoming the problems immediately and preferably.
