DIMENSIONS OF DIGITAL MEDIA CONTENT WAQF ASSETS

Waqf management institutions in Malaysia provide various options for Muslims to endow waqf, including in the form of artistic assets. However, the waqf of digital media content art has not yet been clearly defined in its dimensions as an asset. Therefore, the objective of this study is to analyse the dimensions of artistic waqf from the perspective of digital media content. This qualitative study employs a systematic literature review (SLR) research design, where, through the screening process, 6 articles were used as the basis for analysis using ATLAS.ti. The study found that the waqf assets of digital media content art have five dimensions, namely (1) asset value, (2) content, (3) content format, (4) ownership, and (5) asset longevity. In conclusion, clarifying the definition of the dimensions of artistic waqf in digital media content is essential to provide significant benefits in attracting public interest in endowing their artistic assets and subsequently enhancing the nation's waqf fund.
